We recently stopped by Pastiamo to sit down with owner and Chef Francesca and learn more about her background, her culinary journey, and how the restaurant came to be.
Francesca moved to the area with her family and later attended culinary school before eventually opening Pastiamo. Today, she brings that experience and passion into the restaurant through fresh pasta, homemade sauces, desserts, and dishes prepared with a focus on quality and flavor.
During our visit, Francesca walked us through some of what makes Pastiamo unique, including the sauces made in-house and the inspiration behind the menu. She also prepared the restaurant’s special of the month for us to taste.
And yes — it absolutely lived up to the hype.
Pastiamo has become one of our family’s favorite places to eat in Princeton. Beyond the food, it has the welcoming, personal feel that makes a restaurant become a regular go-to rather than just somewhere you try once.
